FAMILY ADVENTURE RACE

Start in Sandy Point, and take part in an exciting and fun family race that consists of a trek, bike and raft water activity. Get your family together and make a great day of racing followed by a BBQ.

DATE: Sunday 3rd December 2023

TIME: Registrations from 12.30 - Start at 1:00-5:00pm followed by a BBQ

START: Oreti Links Golf Course - Sandy Point (Start point to be released week prior to event)

PRICE:

Price: $30 per team

Maximum of 4 per Team:  at least 1 parent/adult per team

Family orientated event, suitable for all abilities. You'll navigate yourself around Sandy Point using a map while finding clues on the way. The team with the most correct answers in the least amount of time will be the winner. If you don't get all the answers then that doesn't matter either. You'll be biking around tracks and offroad sections of Sandy Point so your bike will need to be suitable for that. We supply the inflatable kayaks, lifejackets and 2 paddles for a section on very safe water.  Bring your bike, helmet, walking shoes, jacket (in case the weather changes), maybe one person has a backpack with some little snacks to keep you going, and a drink bottle.  (Maybe some dry clothes and a towel for afterwards, depending on your skills in the water!)  It's lots of fun.

Adventure Race can be completed without the packed raft water activity.
